Why brand your links

Branded links earn more clicks because people trust a domain they recognize. They also keep your brand front-and-center and let you move links between providers later without breaking them.

Add a domain

Go to Domains, enter the hostname you want to use (typically a subdomain such as go.yourbrand.com), and add it. fewly then shows the exact DNS records to create.

Set the DNS records

In your DNS provider, add the records shown on the domain’s setup screen:

• A CNAME (or A) record that points your subdomain at fewly’s redirect service.
• A TXT verification record we generate, proving you control the domain.

DNS changes can take a few minutes to propagate. Press Verify once they are live.

Automatic HTTPS

The moment a domain verifies, fewly provisions a free Let’s Encrypt TLS certificate and configures the web server for you — no manual certificate steps. Certificates renew automatically before they expire, so your branded links stay on secure https://.

Use it on new links

Once verified, the domain appears in the picker on the Links screen. Select it when creating a link to mint the short URL on your brand. You can verify several domains and choose per link.

Troubleshooting

• Verification failing? Double-check the TXT record value and that it’s on the exact hostname.
• Certificate pending? Give DNS a few minutes, then reload — provisioning runs automatically.
• Use a dedicated subdomain for links rather than your root domain.
