Creating links
A short link points a memorable address at any destination URL. Here is everything you can configure.
The basics
Paste a destination URL on the Links screen and press Create link. Every new link is checked against Google Safe Browsing; while the scan runs the link is pending and flips to active within a second or two. Flagged destinations — and links to private or internal addresses — are refused.
Custom back-halves
The back-half is the part after the slash — go.fewly.tech/launch. Leave it blank for a random short code, or type your own. Back-halves are unique per domain and may contain letters, numbers, and hyphens.
Titles, favorites & organization
Give links a title from Show advanced options so they are easy to recognize later. Star the ones you use most to keep them at the top, and search your link list by code or destination.
UTM parameters
fewly preserves any query string on your destination URL, so you can add UTM tags directly — for example ?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email. Those parameters travel through the redirect so your analytics tools attribute the traffic correctly.
Password protection (paid)
Add a password under advanced options to require a code before the redirect happens — handy for gated downloads or private previews. fewly serves a lightweight unlock page and never reveals the destination until the password is entered. Available on Pro and Team.
Expiration (paid)
Set an expiry date and the link stops redirecting afterward, showing a clean “link expired” page instead. Great for limited-time campaigns. Available on Pro and Team.
Choosing a domain
If you have verified one or more custom domains, a domain picker appears next to the URL field so you can choose which one each link uses. Otherwise links use the shared go.fewly.tech domain.
Editing & deleting
Open any link to rename it, disable it (stops redirecting without losing stats), re-enable it, or delete it permanently. Disabling is reversible; deleting is not.
